The Founders’ News is a place for everyday Americans to come to get America’s current political news from an everyday American without the distractions, slant and agenda of the mainstream media.

I am not a conspiracy theorist. I am not a tea-party member. I am a 30-something that got a degree in journalism right before the economy tanked. I have learned the history of the media. I have studied the importance of the media in keeping a democracy healthy. I think the mainstream media has shown that they are no longer interested in holding the politicians toes to the fire. They are no longer interested in being the watchdogs of the politicians. They are now the lapdogs, the soapbox, the mouthpiece of the politicians that do no research, no questioning, and report what it is they are told. They are partisan, believing everything that is told to them by the party they back.

I am starting The Founders’ News with a goal to create a place where news from all sides of American politics will be collected.  A sort of one-stop-shop for Americans to be able to quickly see what politicians in general are up to and what it is they really stand for, if anything. I am cynical of the government and you should be too.

I want The Founders’ News to be a place where American’s can have dialogue and discourse, agree or disagree, teach or learn something. There are no rules, just news and politics.
